Purpose: The Children’s Ministry strives to make each child feel loved and accepted as they grow in their knowledge of the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We seek to offer an environment that ultimately leads children to Christ and supplement parents in the spiritual development of their children.
Sunday School 9:30 – 10:30 am Nursery – 8th Grade
Offered for all ages, Sunday school classes include Bible lessons that make learning the truth of God’s word fun.
- Nursery – It is never too early to introduce children to Jesus! Caregivers use tools to aid the children in taking their first steps in learning about God.
- Preschool (2’s & 3’s) – If you can play, you can teach preschoolers. Young children learn best from adults. The teachers help to build loving relationships with kids and teach the Bible. Lessons, crafts, and activities make learning fun.
- Kindergarten – Bible lessons, activities, music, and crafts help the children discover more about having a relationship with Jesus. Teachers use the Bible stories to teach life applications.
- Grades 1 & 2 – This class emerges in their reading skills by helping them explore Bible stories and verses that are able to understand and recall. Kids learn that God wants our trust and obedience, which leads them to Jesus, our Saviour.
- Grades 3 -5 – Teachers use a variety of learning activities, meaningful discussion questions and more to help these lively groups become wholehearted followers of Jesus. They will learn how to explore and obey God’s word, trust in Jesus as their Savior and tell others about Him.
- Grades 6 -8 - Teachers keep preteens/teens engaged by developing meaningful mentoring relationships with their students that will lead to a strong foundation of faith. This class leads students to discover what the Bible says about popularity, success, failure, friendship, rules, and more.
Children’s Church - (during Worship Service) Grades 1 – 5
Children’s Worship is a special hour for the children to experience God’s story in fresh, fun and meaningful ways. The lessons weave faith into the children’s life through activities in personal challenges and knowledge of the Bible. They discover the adventure of applying God’s trust to everyday life and how to build a forever relationship with Jesus – the best friend they could ever have.
