Women

In this busy day and age we know that women need hope. It is the mission of the Women’s Ministry Team to encourage women to receive the Holy Spirit’s guidance and to offer themselves as living sacrifices to Jesus Christ. We want to help women prepare their minds for God’s service and then to share the good news with others.

We pray for you “…that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him” (Ephesians 1:17).

The First Baptist Church of Gahanna has several groups of members and friends of the church who meet each month to nurture and grow a camaraderie based on the experiences of the gospel.

God's Girlfriends

Is a group of ladies that meet at least once a month. Most of our meetings are held the 3rd Friday night of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. or when we are ready to go home. This is a time of fellowship, praise, devotion, sharing and caring. You do not have to be a member of FBC Gahanna to attend and be a part of God’s Girlfriends. Women On Mission

Ladies with a passion for missions from seven Metro Columbus Baptist Association (MCBA) churches meet the second Thursday of each month for a Women on Mission (WOM) program and mission project. WOM meets at First Baptist Church – Gahanna (520 Havens Corners, Gahanna, Ohio 43230). Meetings begin with a light supper at 6:30 PM and close in prayer at 8:00 PM. Women on Mission is ongoing missions involvement and learning that extends across the globe. As a part of Women on Mission, ladies have the opportunity to participate in missions and ministries that enable them to experience a variety of ways to serve Christ and develop a missions lifestyle. The ultimate purpose of all WOM activities is to assure every person in the world will have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ. All ladies in the MCBA with a passion for missions and who want to be actively involved are welcome to join this group. Come and bring a friend!
