"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy.." (Philippians 1:3-4a, ESV)
Wow! I was blown away when I drove into the church driveway on Tuesday. It was my first day back to the office in over a week because of vacation.
The first thing I noticed was the new sign. What a difference! There had been a lot of talk over the past few years about redoing it but now it was done. Thank you to all who worked on it.
Also, I immediately noticed the flower beds. It was impossible not to notice them. Whoever took care of those "weed" beds did a great job. Thanks.
I then walked into the church and started looking around. Someone organized the two rooms at the back of the fellowship hall. Those rooms had become storage rooms. When you needed something from there it took forever to find it and longer to get to it. That is no longer the case. I don't know if they have ever been that organized. Thanks to those who labored to organize those areas.
Deb's office looks an office is supposed to look. it is no longer the common dumping area that it had become. Let's keep it that way. Deb worked long and hard to reclaim her space. I haven't looked at the sheds yet. Someone told me they had been completely reorganized and things put into some semblance of order. Thanks to those of you who took your time to take care of that problem.
God's people working together to accomplish great things. Thanks again.
As an aside, Kyle sent me a picture of my new remote office. Ask him to see it.
I think the apostle Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 10:31 sum up what you accomplished. "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
Great job, everyone! You rock! Yay, God!
